09-16 May, a week in review
May 08 (actually taken the 9th), imagine where I’m standing to take this picture, there’s an ambulance parked on the curb with a fire truck across the street with men in NYFD gear in the middle–oh, and rain, lots of rain…sound like a dream? Nope. That was last Friday night–they were shooting the FX show, Rescue Me, in front of/ across the street from my house. When I went out to walk ched, I had to wait for them to stop rolling, and when one of the cast members tried to hit on The Cheese on my front steps while I was turning my key in the door (he, in full fire getup, mmm…) Miss Cheese got nervous and hid behind me–afraid of his outfit, I’d assume–I was not…the end.
10 May - Saturday, I went to brunch then walked around Williamsburg (all day) with my brunch company and stumbled upon this little bike party on Grand.
11 May - Then went out (this photo counts as Sunday) to meet my ad partner to see her boyfriend’s band which was actually quite good.

14 May - Wednesday, co-workers and I ventured from Times Square to karaoke to celebrate one of my favorites breaking free from the corporate monster. This is en route.

15 May - Thurs (proper & bonus), like mother, like daughter.
16 May - Friday, My first visit to White Castle in Brooklyn — there are not enough words to describe my observations while there. Awesome. My only regret: It was too early for them to pull down the famed bulletproof glass — next time, I suppose.
standby
my phone has been in various states of dead since Friday…I’ll post what I have soon. Ugh, technology.
